Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: Are my dependents included under my USA benefits?
A: Yes. Your membership in USA includes the primary member, spouse, and children up to age 19 (age 24 if joined full-time in college). Any member of your family including an aging parent or common law spouse is covered as long as you claim them as a dependant on your Federal Income Tax Form.

Q: What are the deductibles for the USA benefits?
A: USA is not an insurance plan. This not an insurance policy. There are no deductibles.

Q: How do I pay for my monthly membership dues?
A: Your USA membership is paid monthly through an electronic check transfer debit to your checking account every month on the anniversary date of your registration. There are no billing charges for this process and this eliminates your worry about making payments on time each month. You may change your banking information at any time.

Q: How do I receive my USA savings and when do my benefits begin?
A: As soon you join you will then be mailed a membership identification card within two business days. Once you receive your membership card, you can login to the member’s area of the USA Members web site and get specific instructions on how to use each benefit

Q: How do I find a doctor, dentist, eye doctor, hospital, etc. in my area?
A: Your online membership guide will provide a listing of all benefit providers including contact information so you can schedule an appointment and know how to use your benefits.

Q: I have noticed other similar programs, how is USA different?
A: Universal Savers Association is a 23 year-old non-profit organization that is owned and operated by its members. USA’s mission throughout it’s history has been to promote “People Helping People” by lowering the cost of your everyday living expenses and putting your hard earned money back in your pocket. USA is not profit driven and continuously adding health and consumer benefits, such as access to Canadian discount prescription drugs, which will benefit its members offering them peace of mind and quality of life. The USA Management team has a combined experience of over 80 years in association and health industry and is truly helping people across the United States to lower their healthcare costs and daily expenses. We invite you to become a USA Member and help us with our mission – “People Helping People.”

Q: Why do doctors or other providers want to participate in this type of program?
A: When a medical provider joins a network, such as USA’s network, they receive contracted rates, get paid for their services at the time they are performed rather than waiting long periods of time for insurance payments, and have the opportunity to acquire more patients.

Q: If I move or am traveling to another state can I still use my benefits?
A: Your USA benefits are accepted throughout the United States. In fact many benefits will save you money on travel expenses and give you peace of mind if a medical emergency should occur. USA benefit providers are available throughout the United States to assist you. If you move, please update your membership information in a timely manner with USA.

Q: Do I have to sign a yearly contract to be a USA member?
A: There is no long-term contract to sign. Payment of your first monthly dues and the one-time registration fee entitles you to all of the USA benefits. Your membership is active from that point forward and you may cancel at anytime with a thirty day written notice. After the company receives your written notice your benefits will be canceled on the next monthly due date.

Q: Can I provide these benefits to the employees of my company?
A: Yes. In fact, throughout USA’s history, many small and midsize companies have provided USA benefits to their employees. In today’s economy, many companies have been forced to reduce or do away with employee health insurance due to the impact on the company’s bottom line. The USA benefits have increased the benefit package for the employees, saved the employees money, have been an attractive recruiting tool for the company, and have reduced the companies cost for employee benefits.
